American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider: training for healthcare professionals by certified instructor. Class lasts 1.5 hours and certification is valid for 2 years, issued by the American Heart Association. Course includes full instruction, written exam and skills check off. Study guide provided for written exam. (Cost: $80 per person)
American Heart Association ACLS Provider: Advanced cardiac training for healthcare professionals by certified instructor. Class lasts 4 hours and certification is valid for 2 years, issued by the American Heart Association. Current BLS certification is highly recommended. Full class to include instruction, megacode training, skills check off, and written exam. Study guide provided to prepare for written exam. Participants must review the study guide and referenced online material prior to course attendance. AHA online pretest required. (Cost: $200 per person)
American Heart Association PALS Provider: Pediatric advance life support class for healthcare professionals taught by certified instructor. Class lasts 3 hours and certification is valid for 2 years, issued by the American Heart Association. Current BLS certification is highly recommended. Course includes full instruction, written exam, skills check off and megacode. Study guide provided to prepare for written exam. Participants must review the study guide and referenced online material prior to course attendance. AHA online pretest required. (Cost: $200 per person)

AHA Textbook Policy: All students must have the current appropriate AHA course textbook for their individual use before, during, and after the course. Students should review the textbook before class and have immediate access to their own copy afterward as a reference and review tool.
The only exception to this policy is the student who is a healthcare professional who will have access to the textbook for individual student reference, before, during and after the course at his or her facility(ies). A library/archive for healthcare professionals is acceptable but does not meet the requirement for lay programs.
